MELISSA WILLIAMSON - SVP SCRIPTED

Melissa Williamson currently oversees the development and production of primetime scripted series at Saloon Media, a Blue Ant Media company.

Melissa works frequently with international co-producers and buyers in the USA, Latin America and Europe, including Apple+, CW, Roku and StoryFirst Media (UK), to name a few. Based in Toronto, Melissa also has extensive experience financing and creating content for the Canadian market including Bell Media, CBC, Corus and APTN.

Melissa began her career in Los Angeles with leading independent Blueprint Entertainment before joining Entertainment One’s scripted television division in 2008. She would later become President of Pier 21 Films where she executive produced the multi-season hit The Beaverton (CTV, Comedy Network) and award-winning dramas Jack (CBC) and Don Cherry: Wrath of Grapes (CBC).
