Trish Wood is an investigative journalist, interviewer and producer specializing in true crime and justice issues. For 10 years she has been involved with some of the most successful shows in that genre, including Murder in Paradise and Cold Blood.

Her work on the Clayton Johnson wrongful conviction helped free Johnson from prison. She created and produced I Didn’t Do It for Investigation Discovery and interviewed, on death row, serial killer Michael Ross.

Trish hosted Canada’s Emmy Award-winning news program The Fifth Estate and her book, What Was Asked of Us, is a critically acclaimed account of the Iraq War. It was praised by The New York Times, excerpted by Harper’s, and hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “monumental” and “the only book about Iraq that matters.”

She is addicted to dogs, primarily senior Labs, and thinks the Raptors might actually have a shot this year.
