SALOON MEDIA and ARROW MEDIA turn their lens to murder in SEE NO EVIL.

 

Every second of every day, millions of North Americans are caught on Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Most of them are honest citizens going about their everyday lives, but a few are guilty of unspeakable crimes.

See No Evil (6 x 60’) an innovative crime documentary series, co-produced by Canada’s Saloon Media and the UK’s Arrow Media, premieres Friday, November 7 on Slice at 9pm ET/PT.


This is a ground-breaking new program about how real crimes are solved with the help of surveillance cameras. Police reveal how CCTV footage has unlocked the answer to cases that otherwise might have remained unsolved, and leaving dangerous killers at large.

The series features actual footage and dramatic reconstruction, combined with first hand testimony from police, witnesses and families.

 

“From the research we have done and because of the increasing proliferation of cameras everywhere, we see more and more crime captured on camera every day,” says Michael Kot, Saloon Media Executive Producer. “This is one of the first crime shows to reflect that new reality and spotlight the police who are solving crimes that would once have gone unsolved.”

 

Viewers will follow the investigation team as they piece the mysteries together, including the Billings murders in Florida, which saw a military-style hit on a couple in their own home; and the abduction and murder of Kelsey Smith, a girl who was followed and snatched after walking through a shopping mall in Kansas.

 

Using footage from CCTV, webcams and smartphones as the initial leads, the show interweaves reconstructed footage, personal testimony and interviews with experts to create each powerful episode.
