Mummies Alive Receives Two Canadian Screen Award Nominations

January 19, 2016

The Canadian Screen Awards have released their 2016 television award nominations and we are thrilled to announce Mummies Alive has received two nominations!

The first nomination is for Best History Documentary Program or Series. The second is for Best Direction in a Documentary or Factual Series for "The Gunslinger Mummy" directed by Mick Grogan.

In Mummies Alive, mummified ancestors transport us across the gulf of time as we piece together the details of their enthralling lives and enter their lost worlds through hyper-real CG animation.

Thank you, Canadian Screen Awards, and congratulations to our wonderful co-producer, Impossible Factual, our broadcaster Shaw Media, series narrator Jason Priestley, and our amazing Mummies Alive production team!

Congratulations to our fellow nominees and we'll see you at the awards on March 8, 2016!
